About This Species

Zone 5a

Grow me instead of Common comfrey

Berggarten sage is a smaller, more compact version of the classic garden herb. It has soft, fuzzy foliage in an attractive silver-grey color. This sage rarely blooms but will occasionally flower with a pretty purple spike. This sage is evergreen. It prefers full sun and well-drained soils.

When selecting non-invasive plants for your garden, be sure to look for those that are suitable for your location, including moisture requirements, hardiness zone, and avoidance of known bear attractants among other factors.
