Grow me instead of Common comfrey

Anise-scented sage is a summer annual commonly known as “Black and Blue” for its black stems and electric blue flowers that make for a stunning bedding plant. It looks lovely in flower beds or seasonal containers, as it is drought tolerant, heat tolerant, fragrant, and attractive to pollinators – especially hummingbirds. Anise-scented sage grows to about 1 m tall and will bloom all summer long. Plant Anise-scented sage in a sunny, well-drained site.

When selecting non-invasive plants for your garden, be sure to look for those that are suitable for your location, including moisture requirements, hardiness zone, and avoidance of known bear attractants among other factors.
