Take the ISAM Pledge
Take one small InvasiveWise action and join others across B.C., helping care for the places we all value.
Every action matters. When we act together, small steps can create meaningful change.
What Are InvasiveWise Actions?
InvasiveWise actions are simple, everyday choices that help prevent the spread of invasive species at home, in your community, and while exploring outdoors.
Examples include:
- Cleaning mud and plant debris off boots, bikes, and gear
- Cleaning, draining, and drying boats and water gear
- Choosing to plant native or non-invasive plants
- Reporting invasive species sightings
- Buying and burning local wood when camping
- Following Don’t Let It Loose practices for pets, plants, and aquariums
What It Means to Take the Pledge
By taking the ISAM Pledge, you are committing to:
- Taking simple actions that fit your lifestyle and routine
- Learning how to help prevent the spread of invasive species
- Supporting healthier ecosystems and communities
- Being part of a growing movement across B.C.
You don’t have to do everything. Every step makes a difference.
I pledge to take simple InvasiveWise actions that help prevent the spread of invasive species and care for the places we all value.
