Taking Action on Invasive Species!

The Invasive Species Council of BC is excited to be working in collaboration with the Métis Nation of BC to facilitate a youth workshop: ‘Invasive Species that Affect Indigenous Communities’. This interactive workshop will be taking place on August 19, 2021, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm PT. We will discuss native traditional and medicinal plants and animals, the impacts that invasive species have on them and ways to take action to manage invasive species and prevent their spread. Several ISCBC youth volunteers will present the hands-on projects they are working on, and there will be fun activities and prizes. There is no charge to attend the event and advance registration is required.
