Some of the eLearning courses you can take from ISCBC include:

  • Invasive Species 101 Do you know Knotweed is considered the most destructive plant in the world? It can grow through asphalt and foundation, and it’s a big concern in BC. This FREE 45 minute course will increase your awareness around invasive species like Knotweed and how to prevent their spread.
  • Community Science By the end of this FREE course, you’ll understand the impacts of biodiversity and climate change, the value of native species, how to report species through the Report Invasives App or iNaturalist, and how to take action.
  • Invasive Species, Real Estate and Land Use Invasive species can affect your property value. In this FREE 30 minute online course, homeowners andreal estate professionals will learn how to identify existing or prospective issues with invasive species on properties and recognize species of concern in BC.

ISCBC offers learning opportunities from introductory education on invasive species to professional accreditation! All courses offer voluntary certification upon completion of the course modules and optional assessment tool.
