Smoke bush is a large deciduous tree growing to 4.5 m tall and wide. Tolerating a wide range of soils, smoke bush has unique round leaves in either green or deep purple with a whitish bloom and amazing, billowy “smoke” like flowers. Good shrub for fall colour as well with vibrant leaf colour ranging from oranges to purples to reds.
