On March 3, 2021, the ISCBC Youth Volunteer Program will be hosting a training session for the volunteer team. This training session will provide tools to enhance skills in goal setting, focus and visioning, and will serve to support volunteers in their ongoing community service work.
The 2 hour session will dive into key topics including:
- Keeping your values and goals in sight
- Methods to refocus and recalibrate
- Understanding our choices
- Creating a ritual to avoid distraction
- Using self control to support ourselves
Presenter bio: John Singleton is an expert in personal development, leadership, and training. John has been involved with all aspects of exploring and using people development and leadership training for more than 40 years. In 1996, John moved forward to form his own consulting organization. He turned his skills and interests, in both business and people development, into working with entrepreneurs and structured groups so they might realize their full potential while continuing to access their dreams.
While this training session would normally have a registration fee, we are offering it free to any registered ISCBC volunteer. Want to attend but aren’t yet a volunteer? Visit the Volunteer page to apply today!
