ISCBC Youth Training: Keeping Your Vision in Focus

On March 3, 2021, the ISCBC Youth Volunteer Program hosted a training session for the volunteer team. This training session provided tools to enhance skills in goal setting, focus and visioning, and served to support volunteers in their ongoing community service work.

The 2 hour session dove into key topics including:

  • Keeping your values and goals in sight
  • Methods to refocus and recalibrate
  • Understanding our choices
  • Creating a ritual to avoid distraction
  • Using self control to support ourselves

Presenter bio: John Singleton is an expert in personal development, leadership, and training. John has been involved with all aspects of exploring and using people development and leadership training for more than 40 years. In 1996, John moved forward to form his own consulting organization. He turned his skills and interests, in both business and people development, into working with entrepreneurs and structured groups so they might realize their full potential while continuing to access their dreams.
