Join us the week of February 28th, 2023 in person in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia for our annual forum and AGM.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic many of us reconnected with nature, now let’s reconnect with one another. The ISCBC 2023 Forum will serve invasive species practitioners over two and a half days of informative, dynamic sessions held in person in New Westminster, BC. Experts will share the latest best practices, leading-edge invasive species research, and local government initiatives. The goal is to empower participants with practical, cutting-edge information, to inspire them with powerful examples of collaboration, and to leave them with optimism, reminding them of the great difference their work is making in protecting BC’s rich and biodiverse landscapes and waterways.

Showcase your invasive species work, project or research in person at the INVASIVES 2023 Forum & AGM.

Students, researchers, contractors and other stakeholders from the invasive species community are invited to submit their abstract today to participate in our Poster and Speedy Table session taking place on February 28th & March 1st, 2023.

Each year the Invasive Species Council of BC’s Forum draws a dynamic group of individuals and organizations from the invasive species community across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Take this opportunity to highlight your work and network with like-minded professionals from near and far.

Poster presenters at INVASIVES 2023 will be able to present their poster and have discussions with participants during refreshment breaks for a more informal conversation with participants.

Those presenters hosting a speedy session table will be able to quickly meet a wide range of people with a variety of backgrounds, over 1.5-hour session. This will have you talking for 5-7 minutes at a time about your topic to 8-10 rotating groups of people.

Submit your abstract by the deadline of January 11, 2023 to be considered by emailing events@bcinvasives.ca and register here today.
