This exquisite specimen tree is a stately choice for large yards and properties with its spectacular yellow tulip-like flowers in the spring. and maple-like foliage. Its fall foliage is a brilliant orange. Tulip tree does not tolerate drought and requires consistently moist soil. This species does have very weak wood, so it is best planted in a well-protected area that is not affected by wind.
