With long grass-like leaves and robust, showy flowers, daylily is an excellent choice for the perennial garden. Daylilies ranges in height from 0.7 – 1.3 m tall and are available in many colors from yellow, pink, purple, white, and more – there are over 60,000 cultivars of daylily. This plant is a tough, drought tolerant plant that requires minimal maintenance. The most common variety of daylily is Hemerocallis ‘Stella d’Oro’ which is a yellow-flowering variety that blooms profusely and repeatedly throughout the summer months.
