The ‘What’s In My Backyard?’ (WIMBY) Photo Contest is a fun challenge open to individuals, families, school groups and youth groups across BC. Anyone can join!
Throughout the month of May, post as many photos as you can of invasive species found in your backyard – which can be your school yard, local park, back yard or even in the back country. You can post photos on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #WIMBY2022 and tagging us, or submit photos through the WIMBY contest platform. A winner and two runner-ups will be selected at random at the end of ISAM.
You could win a $500 giftcard toward your favourite local outdoors or recreational store! Winner’s choice! Second place prize is $300 and third place prize is $200 toward a local purchase! The more photos you enter, the better your chance to win!
So get outside, learn about invasive species and start entering your photos from May 1!
