Cushion spurge is a low growing, rounded, mounding herbaceous perennial with showy bright yellow flowers and soft green leaves. Growing to 40 cm in height and 60 cm wide, this spurge requires full or part sun to thrive, doing best in well-drained or rocky soils. In the fall months, the leaves turn glorious shades of purple, orange, and red, adding vibrant fall interest to the landscape.

When selecting non-invasive plants for your garden, be sure to look for those that are suitable for your location, including moisture requirements, hardiness zone, and avoidance of known bear attractants among other factors.
