Invasive Plant ID and Management Workshop: Invasive Plants with Yellow Flowers

Join Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society in this workshop to learn to identify key invasive plants in their area and implement best management practices in the field to prevent the spread of invasive species. The identification portion of this workshop will focus on high priority invasive plants with yellow flowers- such as Leafy spurge, Wild parsnip and Yellow flag iris. This workshop is applicable to stewardship groups industry, forestry, Indigenous Peoples, municipal and regional staff, landscapers, gardeners, recreationists and other interested individuals. Topics include invasive plant identification, best management practices for reducing the spread of invasive species, control options and reporting.
